Ingredients :

2 tbsp – Peanuts

1/2 tsp – cumin

1 small onion

1/2 tsp – Saunf

1 pinch – turmeric

1/2 tsp – red chili

2 green chilies

salt – as per taste

1/2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp green coriander

1 pinch – chaat masala

How to make Poha

  1. Wash the poha with water 2-3 times and drain all the water and leave it for approx 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly fry the peanuts as well.
  3. Add cumin seeds, fennel seeds and onions and green chillies in a pan and fry them, when they are lightly fried, then add turmeric salt and roast them for 1 sec, then add peanut and soaked poha in it.
  4. Mix well and also add salt as well.
  5. After mixing well, turn off the gas and close the pan with a lid.
  6. Then after a while remove the lid and add lemon juice on top and mix it well.
  7. Then serve in a plate, garnish with green coriander and add light spices on top and also add light sev.

Now your hot and tasty breakfast is ready, enjoy it with tea.

Poha has to be thick and it has to be soaked in water for a long time, otherwise it will become too wet and this ratio will not be good.

Remove the extra water from the sieve, the poha should be soft, not wet.
